"Mid-Feb/2022... the pandemic landscape was changing so quickly along with our plans for a "low-key" Bar Mitzvah for our son. We originally had planned for a single DJ, a small crowd and not much else in the way of entertainment but quickly realized we needed a lot more. After digging through our contacts from our older son's Bar Mitzvah (pre-pandemic) we were very fortunate to connect (literally just a month before) with Lucas and his company "Pure Entertainment" and I have to say, we were not disappointed one bit. We went from planning for a single DJ and a "low-key" party to getting the man himself, Lucas to MC and DJ the event along with his 2 amazing dancers. The energy that he and his team brought was definitely not "low-key". In fact, it was high energy and made our event of 85 people seem so much bigger than it actually was! They were so interactive with all the guests including all my son's friends and family members, doing things like the "impossible shot", "limbo" and getting guests excited to win raffle tickets, all the while focusing on the real star, the Bar Mitzvah boy himself! You could really feel the engagement and participation between Lucas and the guests from start to finish and that was super important for us. From the get-go, Lucas was personable and professional and super easy to work with. Even during stressful moments when our planning was all over the place in the days leading up to the event, Lucas was calm and reassuring and that alone made it easy for us to put our trust in Lucas and his team to deliver and rise to occasion and man, did he ever! Lucas had great ideas and excellent music choices (along with our own) that really resonated with the younger and older guests alike. He filled in the gaps when our itinerary was off and really kept things moving at all times, making our event a great success! Even when it was over and he was packing up there was no "dead-air" as he had "wind-down" music playing in the background so there was never really a moment where we didn't feel Lucas's presence. In the end, we are so grateful that Lucas and his team at Pure Entertainment were a part of our celebration and would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for an entertainment company. "Our whole experience with Pure was amazing! From when I first contacted Lucas, he was super helpful and enthusiastic. I had many questions and he was always quick to answer and give me the info I needed.  The party was amazing. Daryn and Eddie were both so much fun and so great to deal with. They did an amazing job that had all of the kids dancing all night. Many seemed like they were not going to dance but then ended up on the floor all night. Adults had so much fun too. We had so many compliments from all of the guests. Even our photo booth person and the servers at the party room said how great our DJ and dancer were.
